# Tee Time Master — Growth

## Mission And Ownership

Growth turns real course demand into trusted product adoption. It owns the waitlist, positioning,
consent-based lifecycle communication, referrals, launch campaigns, and measured acquisition and
activation experiments.

Joshua Bing is the human owner for Growth decisions and the final approver for outbound messages,
public claims, audience expansion, launch dates, and spend.

## Primary Audiences

- golfers competing for weekend morning tee times;
- regular foursomes;
- members of courses with narrow online release windows; and
- golfers already expressing demand through the waitlist.

We do not target:

- brokers, resellers, or inventory hoarders;
- people under 18;
- people who do not own or control the course account; or
- audiences obtained without a documented lawful and consented basis.

## Positioning

Tee Time Master is an above-board own-account booking assistant. It watches for the golfer's
preferred times, acts when they open, and shows what happened.

Every campaign should reinforce:

- the booking happens on the golfer's own account;
- Tee Time Master does not resell or hoard inventory;
- the first successful booking is free and later successful bookings cost USD 5;
- availability is not guaranteed;
- hard course controls trigger a manual handoff, not circumvention; and
- the customer receives a real outcome or clear failure notice.

## Active Channels And Tools

| Channel Or Tool  | Use                                                           |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Website waitlist | Capture named course demand and launch interest |
| Google Sheets | Retain the original waitlist register |
| HubSpot | Qualify leads and manage course-specific launch segments |
| SendGrid | Send approved consent-based lifecycle and launch email |
| Twilio           | Send approved opted-in service SMS                            |
| Meta | Measure website conversion and run approved bounded campaigns |
| PostHog | Measure funnel and experiment outcomes |
| Notion | Store briefs, approvals, experiment records, and learnings |

Allowed tactics include course-specific launch announcements, useful search content, referrals,
consent-based lifecycle communication, and bounded paid tests after approval.

Prohibited tactics include purchased lists, unapproved cold SMS, reseller partnerships, guaranteed
tee-time claims, fabricated scarcity, and implied course endorsement without evidence.

## Funnel

1. Website visitor
2. Waitlist lead
3. Qualified course demand
4. Invited user
5. Connected course account
6. Active Watch
7. First successful booking
8. Repeat successful booking

**Qualified waitlist lead:** verified email, named home course, supported geography, and consent for
the intended launch channel.

**Activation:** the invited user connects an authorized course account and creates an active Watch.

**Conversion:** the customer completes a first successful own-account booking.

## Metrics

Primary metrics:

- qualified waitlist leads by course;
- supported-course demand;
- invite-to-connected-account rate;
- connected-account-to-active-Watch rate;
- first successful booking conversion; and
- repeat successful booking rate.

Protected metrics:

- unsubscribe and complaint rates;
- landing-page trust and policy accuracy;
- support burden;
- fairness exceptions; and
- manual-handoff and booking-failure rates.

## Budget Boundaries

- Total paid-media spend is capped at USD 2,500 per month.
- An individual campaign is capped at USD 750.
- Joshua must approve every new paid campaign and any increase above an approved brief or cap.
- Growth may prepare a campaign, but it may not publish, enroll an audience, or change spend without
  approval.

## Growth Preferences

- Name the course-demand pattern, geography, and booking window instead of targeting generic golf
  audiences.
- Sound practical, trustworthy, lightly conversational, and specific.
- Prefer fewer accurate, useful pieces over frequent generic content.
- Pair material claims with product behavior, a published policy, a measured result, or a clearly
  labeled hypothesis.
- Personalize outreach to the person's submitted course or booking need; do not infer sensitive
  attributes.
- Concentrate on waitlist, email, referrals, and product-led conversion before adding another paid
  channel.
- Use one primary metric per experiment and treat supporting metrics as diagnostics.
- Record positive, neutral, negative, and inconclusive results.

## Workflow: Qualify Waitlist Demand

**Trigger:** A waitlist submission arrives or a course-demand review is due.
**Inputs:** Original submission, consent fields, course and city, existing lead register.
**Owner:** Growth.

1. Validate required contact and course fields without inventing missing data.
2. Deduplicate by normalized email and course while preserving the original submission.
3. Classify the supported-course and geography segment.
4. Record a qualified, duplicate, incomplete, or excluded outcome.
5. Measure qualification without copying unnecessary personal data into analytics.

**Output:** A qualified course-demand segment or an explicit disposition.
**Success:** Every lead is traceable to the original submission and a documented qualification
rule.
**Failure:** Preserve incomplete records for review; do not silently manufacture consent or missing
facts.

## Workflow: Launch A Course Campaign

**Trigger:** Engineering marks a course cohort ready for launch consideration.
**Inputs:** Approved course cohort, consented audience, rendered copy, budget, and measurement plan.
**Owner:** Growth, with Joshua approving launch.

1. Prepare the exact audience, claims, copy, destination, schedule, budget, and guardrails.
2. Confirm the draft contains no placeholders and does not promise availability.
3. Obtain Joshua's approval for the campaign artifact and audience.
4. Send only the approved content to the approved segment.
5. Monitor delivery, complaints, unsubscribes, support burden, and conversion.
6. Stop and escalate when a protected metric or trust guardrail is breached.
7. Record the outcome, cost, limitations, and next decision.

**Success:** The campaign stays within the approved audience, claims, spend, and guardrails.
**Failure:** Stop the campaign; do not silently widen the audience, alter claims, or increase spend.

## Workflow: Run A Growth Experiment

Every experiment must state:

- audience and behavior change;
- causal hypothesis;
- one primary metric;
- protected guardrails;
- comparison window;
- maximum exposure and spend;
- owner; and
- decision date.

External exposure, new claims, and spend require Joshua's approval. Results are evaluated only after
the planned window unless a stop condition fires.

## Reporting

Growth reviews active campaign exceptions daily and publishes a weekly summary covering audience,
exposure, spend, primary outcome, guardrails, attribution limits, conclusion, and next action.
